Bruce was born May 22,1955. He was the oldest child of Joseph and Muriel Wegman of Annaheim, SK. Bruce grew up on the family farm near Annaheim and attended school there. Bruce met the love of his life, Gwenda, in 1979 when she rented a house from his parents. They were married October 4, 1980 and had three children. Bruce worked at Doepkers for many years but decided he needed a change, so he worked at Schulte Industries for a short while before settling in nicely at Michel’s Industries. Bruce was a hard worker and loved to keep busy. He enjoyed hockey in his younger years and playing with the grandchildren in his later years. He also enjoyed farming, camping, fishing, walking all the dogs, and visiting with friends. Bruce will be lovingly remembered by his three children, and their families: Chris Wegman (Jana and children Cooper and Kinsley), and sons Emmett and Corben (mother Renee Wegman); Tyler Wegman (Dawna) and daughter Azaliya; and Kira Klitch (Ryan) and daughters Halle and Jensen; brother Ralph Wegman (Valerie); sister Sandy Weyland (Dale); in-laws, Jeannie Renneberg (Florian) and Elaine Pankratz, (who has since passed); and by numerous nieces and nephews. Bruce was predeceased by his wife Gwenda; parents Joseph and Muriel Wegman; and parents-in-law John and Cecilia Jurgens.
