Obituary

Darlene was born in Humboldt to her parents John and Cecilia Klitch (née Schreiner) on December 27, 1940. On August 26, 1961, Darlene married her love Walter Buchacher and their marriage was blessed with seven children. Darlene’s favorite things were having her grandchildren and great- grandchildren come for a visit and baking cookies and sending them home with them, along with many other goodies. Her hobbies were crocheting, making crafts, playing cards and baking. She also enjoyed camping and spending time with friends for a coffee or even a meal. For many years, Darlene worked as a server and at Kemway Lanes. She spent time volunteering as well, at the Good Neighbour’s Store. Her time with the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary was very fulfilling for Darlene and she served as President, Zone Rep, and the Bingo Chairperson and caller. She was known for her love of her faith, her family, and her friends. Darlene will be lovingly remembered by her surviving five children and their families: Lyle, Murray (Clare), Merle (Brad), Karen, and Neil; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Keith (Jackie) Klitch; sister Eileen Klitch; six sisters-in-law; and her numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband Walter Buchacher; two sons Gerald and Ronald; one grandson Mitchell; parents John and Cecilia Klitch (née Schreiner); parents-in-law Frank and Mary Buchacher; brother Lloyd Klitch; brothers-in-law George Fahl, Wally Burak, and Ed Buchacher; and sister-in-law Helen Fahl.
