Obituary

Henrietta was born on September 26, 1943, to Henry and Mary (née Meyer) Dosch. She was the youngest of six children. On August 15, 1961, she married Joe Hogemann and they spent their married life on the farm where Joe grew up. Alongside raising their family of seven children, they ran a mixed farming operation together. While on the farm, Henrietta helped with all aspects of the work involved, but she especially enjoyed the vegetable garden and her flowers. Looking at her huge garden, you knew she loved it! When most of the kids were out on their own, Henrietta returned to school to complete her GED and the Office Education Course, and with these steps, she began her working career off the farm. After almost 29 years of marriage, Joe passed away. In 1994, she married Wess Cragg and this brought a move to Nipawin. Henrietta continued her routine, helping Wess on the farm and working in the town of Nipawin. To be closer to the children, in May of 2018, she and Wess moved to Humboldt. In all of the communities where she lived, Henrietta made many friends and she was always very active, volunteering and serving on many boards, especially the CWL. Recently, she received her 60 year pin, recognizing her faithful dedication and long service as a CWL Member. Henrietta will be loved and sadly missed, “We love you Mom!” She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Wess; her children: Maureen (Henry) Schedlosky, and family: Christine (Kim) Bergermann, Blair, Danica, and Kira; Adam (Brandi), Emma, Julia, and Blake; Ryan (Malory), Logan, and Brielle; Nicole (Jared) Ferguson, Lexie, Olivia, and Addilee; Doug (Denise) Hogemann, and family: Natasha (Ryan) Thomsen, Ronin, and Malachi; and Tyler; Keith (Delphine) Hogemann, and family: Derrick, Joshua, Tyrell, and Coltin; Della (Arlee) Bernauer, and family: Justin (Allyson), Sophie, Isaac, Hailey, and Jacob; Michael (Melissa), Carter, and Payton; Amanda (Reid) McKim; Megan (Nathan) Jaeb, and Jameson; Curt’s children: Cassandra, Angela, and Dustin; Gregory (Sylvia) Hogemann, and family: Andrea, Gonzalo, and Laura; and Susan Hogemann; her brothers: Fr. Leander, and Jerome (Cora); her sister-in-law Geraldine; many in-laws of the Hogemann and Cragg families; and special family friends: Dennis, Rebecca, and Lucas. Henrietta was predeceased by her husband Joe; son Curtis; parents Henry and Mary; brother Carl; sisters, Marian (Norbert) and Audrey (Nick); and by members of the Dosch, Hogemann, and Cragg families. The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Dr. Levick-Brown and to all of the nurses and staff at Humboldt District Hospital for their amazing care of our Mom.
