Herman was a hard-working, caring, and very sincere person. His faith was very important to him. He retired from farming in his late 50’s and moved to Saskatoon. His new work involved overseeing and maintaining the various apartment blocks that he owned with his brother, and this kept him very busy. Herman was a very astute businessman with a phenomenal memory. About four years ago, when his health began to decline, he decided to move into Humboldt to be closer to family. While in Humboldt, his family was able to care for him. His family will miss him dearly.
Herman will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his brothers, Martin (Terry) Kuervers, of Mississauga, Ontario, and Ted Kuervers, of Calgary, Alberta, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. Herman is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Katherine (née Van Gerven) Kuervers; his brothers: Joseph, John, and Hubert; his sister Helen Musgrove; his sisters-in-law: Bertha, Loretta, and Joan; and by his brother-in-law, Jack Musgrove.
