Victor was born on June 4, 1932, to Rudolph and Anna (née Pitzel) Struck at home on their farm in the Pilger district. He was the fifth youngest child in a family of 13. Victor was a very caring person, an excellent housekeeper, and an accomplished cook and baker, and would try any recipe. He also enjoyed canning and making jellies.
Victor leaves to mourn his three youngest sisters: Mariann (Bernard) Diederichs, Erna (John) Diederichs, and Dianne Hopfner; two sisters-in- law: Agatha Struck and Doris Struck; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rudolph and Anna (née Pitzel) Struck; six brothers: Verner Struck, Marcus (Elizabeth) Struck, Roman (Cecelia) Struck, Ervin Struck, Dennis (Gladys) Struck, and Merlin Struck; three sisters: Alma (John) Froess, Helena (Henry) Jurgens, and Lorraine Struck; and by brother-in-law, Ralph Hopfner.
